As Creative Industry Finance approaches its first year we’re proud of the progress it has already made in helping creative businesses develop and grow, contributing to create a more sustainable creative sector in the UK.

In the lead up to summer, Creative Industry Finance have partnered with Guardian Culture Professionals Network, sparking discussions around the future of funding for the creative industries in a live web chat as well as highlighting useful business planning tips for creatives and arts organisations. The Creative Industry Finance team have also been busy spreading the word about the programme through delivering a series of “Creative Enterprise: From Start Up To Scale Up” free events. These events give creative businesses a taste of how working with an advisor could benefit them through one to one taster sessions. These are followed by discussions and talks from supported businesses, Creative Industry Finance team members and other industry professionals.
