We hosted a packed event at Bl-nk Space in London on 23 September to launch Creative Industry Finance.

Our creative business development and access to finance programme Creative Industry Finance launched on 23 September with an event packed to the rafters at Bl-nk Space in London. Guests from across the creative sectors enjoyed engaging speeches from the Chair of Arts Council England, Sir Peter Bazalgette, and Creative United’s Chair, David Gilbert.

Presentations from a small selection of our supported businesses – Ulteria, Kempadoo-Millar and Opera Up Close – brought home the impact of Creative Industry Finance to our invited audience. To top this off they were also treated to a surprise pop-up opera performance by members of the Opera Up Close chorus, singing a moving duet from La Boheme.

We’re so pleased with the welcome and endorsement we’ve received from across the creative industry for the launch of this ground-breaking programme. We are happy to report that applications are already coming in. We can’t wait to read them and start supporting creative businesses and the talented people running them.

You can see and share more images from the night on our Facebook page.
