Re:Create is returning to the boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond. This years programme will coincide with Wandsworth’s term as London Borough of Culture 2025.
Our successful business support programme provides free tailored business support to a range of talented creative enterprises to help them grow their business and increase confidence in themselves.
With ongoing investment from Richmond Borough Council and Wandsworth Borough Council, the programme will once again empower creative, self-employed individuals and small enterprises to thrive.
Selected participants will benefit from:
- 4 hours of one-to-one mentoring from business coaches in the creative and arts industries.
- A tailored e-learning course focused on business skills for creatives – a great on-demand toolkit with training videos and downloadable resources.
- Opportunities to connect with the Re:Create network made up of local creative entrepreneurs and artists at in-person events.

The Alton Renewal Plan is keen to support creatives business owners, artists, and creative freelancers from the Alton Estate, in the borough of Wandsworth, to take part in the Re:Create programme. If you live or work on the Alton and are interested in applying for the programme or attending Re:Create events but may face barriers such as childcare, transport, or access needs (like a BSL interpreter or translator), Wandsworth Borough Council may be able to help. If you’d like to talk through what support is available, please get in touch with Natalie Omari at Wandsworth Council via email at Natalie.omari@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk.
Hear from last years Re:Create Wandsworth Participants
I’ve built new confidence to reach out to potential new clients, brands, galleries and venues. Also, with my new dose of confidence I’ve set plans in motion to tick some big dreams off my list. One of those being securing a venue to host a group art show at The Bedford Pub in Balham over the WAF 2025 celebrations.” – Krystal Wong

“The big change [in the business] is about financial planning, confidence and understanding. I was really flying blind before this programme, but Stuart provided me with insights, a clear understanding and some very useful tools to help me get to grips with the company’s finances, understand where I currently stand and plan for the next year and future years.” – Fintan Maguire from High Rock Media
