On Thursday 31 July we were delighted to celebrate the official launch of Re:Create in Westminster for 2025.

The event was hosted at Great Western Studios, a light-filled creative hub nestled between Notting Hill and Maida Vale, right along the Grand Union Canal. With its vibrant atmosphere of innovation and community, it was the perfect setting to ignite fresh ideas and meaningful connections.

Throughout the morning, attendees had the opportunity to explore what Re:Create offers, including:

  • How Re:Create can help grow their creative business
  • Free one-to-one mentoring with industry experts
  • Exclusive networking and training opportunities
  • A powerful on-demand e-learning toolkit designed for creatives

A highlight of the event was an inspiring panel discussion featuring Re:Create alumni Aleksandra Volkova (Volkova Agency), Rukiya Shanthi (Pathika Papers), and Yolanda Mercy (Writer/Performer). They shared their personal journeys through the programme and how it helped shape their creative ventures.

BAFTA nominated Yolanda Mercy said: “I found being on the programme to be a really transformative experience. It was great to be able to have a mentor, to meet my cohort, and to be able to develop myself and my business.”
