Prosper North: They Eat Culture

They Eat Culture (est 2009) is a direct intervention into daily life in Preston, Lancashire.

Their work seeks to help turn up the cultural temperature & amplify diverse unheard voices through live, performative arts, digital/media, cultural heritage, social action, achieving value & impact.

They are an artist-led team of creatives, activists, researchers, community facilitators, technologists, makers to present, commission & produce creatively diverse & artistically projects of use & value, co-designed with communities.

They develop opportunities in low socio-economic engagement areas, building community assets and effecting positive change alongside local/national social justice, cohesion, skills, health & wellbeing agendas, raising aspirations through participation.

They Eat Culture joins the Prosper North community as part of Edition 2.
