Friends of Stretford Public Hall formed in 2014, to save Stretford Public Hall – a Grade II-listed public hall in the heart of Stretford, Greater Manchester. Following a successful community asset transfer, the Friends secured the freehold of the hall and have since been restoring and reopening the building for the benefit of the local community. The hall is home to artist studios, a shared co-working space, and a variety of rooms and spaces which are regularly used by community groups and organisations. The hall is currently undergoing a major renovation and will reopen in January 2021.
