Studio MB is Mareike Besch, an artist and designer/maker specialising in Japanese woodblock printing.

Mareike trained as a designer at Central St. Martins College of Art in London and worked in postproduction for some years. She enjoys combining arts and design, finding new ways to update an ancient craft such as woodblock printing.

For Mareike, all crafts inherit a deeper understanding and respect for nature and help to grow an awareness for its impacts on social, economic and cultural relations.  

Studio MB joins the Forge community as part of the fourth and final edition, Cohort 4.
