Forge Fashion: Feral Crayon

Feral Crayon is me, Beccy. I love being outside, and I design stuff to wear outside. I believe the clothes we wear should not be detrimental to the environment we are getting out to enjoy and I strive to work with like minded people who are genuinely working towards a climate positive apparel industry.

I’m a freelance Apparel designer specialising in technical outdoor, performance sports and lifestyle clothing. Covering all stages of product creation, I work on projects of any size. I can take clients from creative direction to final design or can step into any part of the process along the way. Working independently or with a client’s team, I explore new concepts, set design direction, assist with range building, develop product briefs, create colour palettes, source and select fabrics and of course design garments and produce full technical drawings for all styles. I can also follow directives you have already established be that for a whole range or just a few pieces.

I have experience of mentoring young people and working with students. I can offer guidance and tuition to those getting to grips with their own creative process whilst studying fashion design or other related subjects.
