We are thrilled to share the news that Creative United have been chosen as a finalist for the Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Business Awards 2025.

As a Westminster based business, with our office located at Somerset House, it is an honour to have been shortlisted in the Charity or Social Enterprise of the Year award category, alongside a fantastic range of nominees doing amazing work within the borough.

Although many of Creative United’s initiatives – such as the Own Art and Take it away schemes – have a national reach, the organisation’s recent award nomination acknowledges our local impact within the City of Westminster. The recognition stems from the success of our creative business support programme, Re:Create, which is now entering its second year serving Westminster’s creative community.

About Re:Create

Last year, Re:Create empowered 38 creative, self-employed individuals and small enterprises in the borough of Westminster to develop their businesses, increase their confidence and establish new connections with other creatives their community and beyond. The programme helped build business resilience and confidence for participating creatives – safeguarding jobs and resulting in an estimated increase in income of around £200,000.

This year, with ongoing support from the City of Westminster Council, we are able to bring Re:Create to a whole new cohort of Westminster based creatives.

Creatives based in the London boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond and Westminster can apply to be selected for this year’s Re:Create programme. Click here to learn more about Re:Create.

We are grateful to the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and look forward to attending the upcoming award ceremony.
