Creative United announce partnership with Nordicity and Waltham Forest Council to support the development of an Accredited Creative Enterprise Zone.

Nordicity and Creative United are working in partnership with Waltham Forest Council to engage with local creatives and stakeholders over the next 3 months. The aim is to promote understanding of what a Creative Enterprise Zone (CEZ) can offer in terms of business support, networking and to facilitate and grow skills pipelines.

Working with the Mayor of London, Waltham Forest Council would like to promote and support the development of an Accredited Creative Enterprise Zone to put this area firmly on the map.

The Blackhorse Lane area of Waltham Forest is a rich and varied creative ecosystem attracting local creative enterprises, freelancers and makers.

As the creative sector recovers from the impact of COVID-19 this is also an opportunity to reimagine these opportunities and to establish long-term support amongst peers, stakeholders and the council.
