Creative United to become a National Portfolio Organisation for 2018-22

Creative United is thrilled to confirm that it has been chosen to join the Arts Council England’s National Portfolio for 2018-22, within the new Sector Support Organisation (SSO) category.

As an SSO, we will continue to focus on the delivery of our consumer credit programmes (Own Art and Take it away) which are designed to support the economic growth and development of the sector.

Mary-Alice Stack, Chief Executive of Creative United says “We are absolutely delighted that our application has been successful, and look forward very much to continuing to work closely with the Arts Council to develop and deliver services that will enable the sector to thrive, increasing public access and enjoyment to arts and culture across the country. With this commitment to our future plans in place, we are now able to proceed with some very exciting updates to our programmes so keep an eye out for more news from us in the coming weeks.”

Following changes to Arts Council England, this NPO cohort includes museums and libraries for the first time. Recently we accepted applications for our free business support programme, Prosper. Prosper will work with businesses covering the arts, museums and libraries until March 2018. We look forward to developing those relationships further in future as well.

Creative United is the trading name of Creative Sector Services CIC. We are listed on the Arts Council’s NPO spreadsheet under the latter.
