City of Stoke-on-Trent and Factory have joined forces with Creative Industry Finance to help you grow your creative business and guide you through the maze of funding and finance.
Expect to:
- Understand what steps are needed to prepare your business for growth.
- Gain a better understanding of the funding and finance options available to you.
- Meet members of our team and hear how the programme can support you and your business.
You can also sign up for a one to one session with Tracey Johnson, Andrew Riley or Gill Thewlis who are part of our network of Business Advisors, to discuss your funding and finance needs.
The event will also consist of presentations and talks from:
Ellen O’Hara a SFEDI accredited coach, experienced trainer and facilitator who has supported hundreds of sole traders, micro-businesses and SMEs over the last 12 years to achieve creative and commercial success.
Ian Peart, UK Learning & Development Manager of Michelin will give an introduction to the Michelin’s approach to business and discuss design-led innovation.
Nel Hargrave, Business Manager, Anthony Hartley will give insight to the ups and downs of growing a creative business, how to prepare your business for finance and how to use this success to leverage other funds. She will also give her top tips for creative entrepreneurs.
The talks will be followed by a Q&A session to give you the chance to get any questions about working with a business advisor and accessing loan finance off your chest.
