Forge Fashion was a free business support and networking programme for fashion and textiles businesses in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, delivered by Creative United in partnership with Waltham Forest Council and The Fashion District.

The Forge Fashion programme (October – December 2020) was created to support fashion and textile businesses to thrive sustainably – both environmentally and financially – during Covid recovery and beyond, through workshops, one-to-one advice and networking.

To celebrate the launch of the programme, we invited leaders and innovators from London’s fashion and textiles sector – Rosie Wolfenden MBE from Tatty Devine, Anna Ellis from the Centre for Fashion Enterprise, and Ryan Yasin from Petit Pli – to share their insights in 3 Instagram Live events. If you would like to see a recording of these, click here.

If you are interested in networking opportunities or to find out more about fashion in Walthamstow, be sure to follow the Hive Collective and Waltham Forest Fashion.

Who did the Forge Fashion programme support?

The Forge Fashion programme worked with a mix of 30 new and existing businesses from across the fields of fashion and textiles, offering them a better understanding of the strengths in their businesses, the chance to extend their network and to create a bespoke action plan for sustainable growth. From couture design studios, to children’s clothing brands, we were delighted to work with such a diverse array of businesses. You can meet the full cohort and find out more about their businesses by clicking here.
