Paul Franklyn is an arts consultant, curator of SohoCurate and co-founder of Plinth.
Plinth produces a range of limited editions, multiples and products by the world’s leading contemporary artists. Franklyn is presently working with IKON Gallery in Birmingham on a project to celebrate their 50th anniversary by creating limited editions and products with various iconic British artists, including Cornelia Parker, Richard Deacon, Richard Wilson and Beatriz Milhazes.
As curator of the annual festival of creativity - SohoCreate, Franklyn brings together in conversation, an eclectic mix of celebrated creatives and established thought leaders such as John Hegarty, Giles Deacon and Peter Bazalgette. His primary focus is to secure brand and media partnerships to deliver a compelling offering for audiences.
Aside from consulting to a number of arts and culture based organisations, including the leading virtual store for fashion, design and art in the world - Yoox.com - Franklyn also co-founded the record label Relentless. Working with a roster of artists of the stature of Joss Stone and KT Tunstall, Franklyn supported the sale of over ten million records worldwide.
